What's the best way to ship my parts to Chrome That Hog for Show Chrome Plating? |
We prefer United Parcel Service. U.S. Mail is great for letter mail but not necessarily designed and priced appropriately for large and heavy containers. UPS Ground is typically cheaper, includes three delivery attemps, automatically insures your parts for $100, your partss are automatically tracked, and insurance claims are simple. |

How should I label my parts or container? |
We generally receive a large number of parts and incorrectly labeled material can become frustrated. We request that you always include your name either inside or outside the container, not the name of the third party shipping service. Including your email address and phone number will improve communication and is greatly appreciated. |

How will I know my parts have been shipped? |
A UPS tracking number will be automatically e-mailed to you once booked for shipment. |

How long do I have to return my old parts or cores? |
Although we allow up to 90 days to claim your core deposit, we are willing to work with your schedule so just let us know how we can help. |

What is the warranty on Show Chrome Plated parts? |
Effective January 2010 we began offering a Limited LIFETIME Warranty: Liability of our labor and material of plating or replating your part. We warrant to the original owner that the Show Chrome finish is free of defects in material and workmanship. This warranty does not apply to previously plated parts, special offers or parts purchased using third party sources such as Ebay. We will repair at our discretion, without charge to customer any plated finish that is determined to be defective by Chrome That Hog. The repair or replacement does not include cost of installation, freight, third party labor or shipping cost to or from Chrome That Hog. Returns because of damage, corrosion, improper installation, use of abrasives, harsh cleaning methods, accidents, abnormal use or bad casting imperfections in material will not be warranted but we would like work with you to resolve your problem. |

How do I know the part I received will be as good as the one I return? |
All parts are professionally inspected to meet original condition specifications upon receipt, before return of core deposits, and introduction to our production line. This process ensures we do not invest time and labor into a defective part and our customers are guaranteed the best possible quality Harley Davidson® has to offer. |

Can I take advantage of Chrome That Hog's UPS discount when returning my parts? |
Yes. It would be our pleasure to provide you and email link to print out a UPS label at the same cost we charge for shipment. Customers often find it easier and cost effective to have us provide shipping labels. |

If I don't see the parts I need on the website, does that mean Chrome That Hog don't carry them? |
Absolutely not. With the exception of VRod, we carry the most popular parts in inventory and then some. Just give us a call, text or call us at 619-829-6611 or walk into our retail outlet at Chrome That Hog 911 East 8th Street National City CA 91950. |

What if I have extra parts that I don't need anymore? |
Let us know. We often allow credit towards plating or exchange services in exchange for your late model Harley Davidson® parts. The most popular parts in our inventory are Deuce, Softail, Fat Boy and Touring model wheels, pulleys, lower legs, rotors, swingarms but often take motors, projects or complete bike projects so just ask. |
