Solid aluminum wheel facts:
1. 2000 and newer wheels must have the bearings removed prior to plating.  You can choose to remove them yourself or we can do it for an additional $25 per wheel.

2.  Please don't send bent wheels.  We will hold your bad wheel pending receipt of return shipping.  This also applies to valve stems, trim plates, bolts and bearing races we have to remove.

3. We plate all aluminum wheels from your bike and have many in stock for exchange.  Other wheels never exceed $375 plating charge.

4. Tire removal and mounting is your responsibility.  Don't send us your tires!  Again, if we get them we're disposing of them.  We plate wheels, not valve stems, bearing races, trim plates, bolts or tires.

5. From time to time, we looking to purchase additional OEM wheels, swingarms, forward controls, floorboard brackets and primarys for stock.  If you have some you want to get rid of cheap or exchange for services, then send us an email at sales@chromethathog.com

6. We can offer a discount for larger orders.  If you are a club member or just have a load of wheels you want plated,  give us a call or email us at sales@chromethathog.com.     If your an entrepreneur and want to make some extra money distributing in your area then email us.  We'll get you started.

7. We get this question all the time.  Yes, our wheels are 100 percent polished.  They are not machined.  The rough casting is removed and polished as well unless otherwise requested as a special order..

8.  Warranty:  We feel a warranty is a marketing tool!  If you want a warranty check with your local dealer or we can refer you to one we supply with plating and they will charge you a warranty price.  
With that said, we are not here to rip anyone off and realize things do happen. If we were ripping our customers off we wouldn't be where we are at today after so many years.  If you have a problem we want to hear about it but we will not accept responsibility for down time, dealer costs etc...  There are a few unscrupulous individuals that will sue for a million dollars over a $275 wheel. You know what I'm talking about.  Our wheels have over 20 years of chrome plating experience behind them and are marketed around the world, that should speak for itself.  If you have been riding a Hog or cruising a street Rod, you have more then likely seen or used our plated products with someone else's name on them.  And remember, you can always go to our retail store not some in National City, California where thousands of parts are in stock.

9.  Softail Solid rear wheels also fit many other bikes.  Because of this, everyone always wants to cannibalize our wheel sets for the rear only.  Sorry, no can do.  We tried this but got hung with a bunch of front wheels.

10.  Price Quotes: Quotes are good for 14 days.   If the getting is good then get it.

11. We are not responsible for return shipping and no COD shipping.

12. So many people either take their time returning our wheels and swingarms or decide to keep them for the price of the deposit.  Because of this fact, Deposits must be claimed within 30 days from receipt of purchased items.  This is also listed on our price sheet.  This will allow us the opportunity to clear our books and to replace the items for other customers.

Swingarm facts:
1. Swingarms must have the bearings removed prior to plating.  You can choose to remove them yourself or we can do it for an additional $10 per swingarm.

2. You can choose to have your swingarm plated or exchanged.  Most softail swingarms are in stock.

3. Brake line tabs will be removed and polished over.

4. If you want the swingarm customized (upper or lower belt guard brackets removed.) in any other way we can do it.
